Apply for General Admission
Admissions & Records
Camp Community College welcomes applications from anyone who has a high school diploma, a GED certificate, or 18 years old and can benefit from a program. High school students may enroll with the approval of their high school principal or guidance counselor. Home school students must provide to the Admissions and Records Office a current copy of a signed home school agreement between their school system and the authorizing parent or guardian.
New students and those who have not enrolled within the past three years must submit an application. Applications are available online and at all locations. Students, who are over 18 years old and do not have a high school diploma or GED, must meet the ability to benefit. This is required for those pursuing a plan of study.
Special Information for Students Outside Virginia Seeking to Enroll in Online Courses or Programs
Paul D. Camp Community College has been approved by the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV) to participate in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements. NC-SARA is a voluntary, regional approach to state oversight of postsecondary distance education. This allows Camp to offer distance learning programs and courses to residents of member states without seeking state-by-state approval. As of July 2019, 49 states (all but California), the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands have joined SARA. For more information, visit Distance Education at Camp.
