Application Information

Welcome to WCC! Anyone who is 18 or older or who has obtained a high school diploma, or the equivalent may be admitted to the college. Special consideration is given to others on a case-by-case basis. The staff of the WCC Admissions Office is available to assist students in completing an application and submitting the information needed to determine student eligibility.

WCC offers a wide variety of academic programs of study to help students prepare for careers or to transfer to other colleges and universities. All students receiving Financial Aid must be enrolled in an eligible program of study and should select one on the admissions application. If you need assistance in selecting a program, please contact an academic advisor in the One Stop Center, (276) 223-4825, at the WCC at the Henderson in Marion, (276) 783-1777 or WCC at the Crossroads Institute in Galax, (276) 744-4974.

VCCS ID Verification requirements for all new applicants

The admissions process will now require that all credit applicants verify their identity. Applicants will need access to a computer or mobile device that has a camera to provide a real-time photo of yourself (Liveness Check) and upload a photo ID (Driver's License, Passport, ID Card, etc.). Contact Admissions at 276-223-4753 for assistance.
